Former Brighton midfielder Soufyan Ahannach is delighted to be back in Holland.

Ahannach terminated his contract with Brighton last week and has signed with Go Ahead Eagles. He had been with the Seagulls for two years.

Go Ahead Eaglers technical director Paul Bosvelt said, "Soufyan adds creativity and scoring ability to our squad.

"Moreover, he can not only be used as an attacking midfielder, but also as a left winger.

"With the arrival of Soufyan, we are anticipating the departure of one of our players. Soufyan makes a very eager and ambitious impression and would like to show himself again."
