West Ham United midfielder Tomáš Souček is delighted to be heading home for the Europa Conference League final.

Souček and his teammates will take on Fiorentina in the Conference League final in Prague later in the month.

West Ham defeated AZ Alkmaar 1-0 away from home on Thursday, winning their semi final 3-1 on aggregate.

“I am going home," the midfielder stated post-game.

“It was one of the most difficult games of my career I knew that this final was in my home, so it was tough to think about.

“But I have to thank all my teammates for what they did tonight and all the fans for their support.

“From the start of the competition, I knew it was Prague and we had to get there. And we are there now. I am very emotional and look forward to it. We are in the final!"
