Sons of guns exciting West Ham management

West Ham United management are excited by the preseason form of two sons of guns.

Sixteen year old George Moncur, the son of John Moncur, and Ollie Lee, who is the son of Robert Lee, both impressed Hammers reserves coach Alex Dyer in the win over Bishop Auckland last week.

"I was delighted with the result, but more with the performance," he told whufc.com. "It was great, the boys worked hard. To be fair they had done in the previous two games [against Thurrock and Burton] as well.

"We have got a bunch of young lads in there who work hard for each other. We have got a group together with good unity and they are working hard for each other. George's future looks bright, he has trained well and, alongside Olly Lee, has helped us boss it in midfield."
