Sone Aluko is on the brink of a playing return at Hull City.
The Nigeria international forward, out of action since tearing his Achilles in the 2-1 loss to Everton in October, is in line for a recall in the Humbersiders' visit to relegation rivals Sunderland.
Hull boss Steve Bruce said: "Sone is a big one for us to get back. He gives us something different, and it will be a real boost to have him available again.
"He's had a wretched time with an Achilles problem for a year now, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that he stays injury-free from here on in.
"Sone has worked extremely hard over the last couple of weeks to build up his fitness. So let's hope that he will be okay, because having him back could be huge for us."
