Son of a gun Stefan Bajcetic inks Liverpool pro terms

Stefan Bajcetic has penned pro terms with Liverpool.

The 17-year-old moved to the Reds in February of this year from his hometown club, Celta Vigo, in Spain.

After originally joining the U16s group, he made his U18s debut as a 16-year-old last season. This term he has played most of his football as a centre-back for the U18s group, where his quality passing and ability to carry the ball out from the back have stood out.

Bajcetic has also stepped up to the U23s on occasion and shown has versatility by operating as a holding midfielder. His first start in the UEFA Youth League came in midfield this week and he rose to the task with a fine goal in the 4-0 victory over FC Porto.

A Spanish national himself, Bajcetic's father represented Serbia at international level.
