Son of a gun Lucas Canizares is impressing inside Real Madrid's academy.

A goalkeeper like his father, the former Valencia, Real Madrid and Spain hero Santiago Canizares, Lucas has recovered from a serious knee injury suffered last season.

The 19 year-old is set to be added to Raul's Castilla squad for the new season.

Lucas is a Spain youth international and missed much of last season due to his injury. However, he recovered in time to make his Castilla debut late in the campaign.

Canizares also sat on the first team bench in 2020 against Cadiz.
