Son of a gun Gallagher Lennon receives first call to Northern Ireland U18 squad

Young Gallagher Lennon has received a call up to the Northern Ireland U18 squad.

The son of former Celtic manager and Leicester midfielder Neil Lennon will be in the team as they take on Austria U18s next week.

The youngster currently plays for Partick Thistle as part of their youth setup.

The 18-year-old is a defender, but he can also be used in midfield positions.

Lennon is joined in the Northern Ireland U18 squad by talented Cliftonville winger Sean Moore.

Meanwhile, dad Neil has recently lost his management job in Cyprus, after he helped Omonia Nicosia to win the Cypriot Cup last term.
