Son and Alli confident of Spurs top four push

Heung-min Son insists Tottenham's top four hopes are alive after Sunday's defeat of Manchester City.

Spurs now sit fifth, with Chelsea firmly in their sights ahead of a showdown at Stamford Bridge on February 22.

“We have over 10 games now," said Son.

“We have a lot of games to play but at the end of the season we will see what happens. We just try to be focused. We just try to get as many points as possible."

England midfielder Dele Alli believes the north Londoners are now ready to build on that morale boosting win.

“If you look at the table we know it is getting closer," he said. “We obviously know it is going to be difficult but we know where we should be as a team.

“We know we have let ourselves down at times and not got the right results but we just have to take each game and keep improving. Hopefully we will be up there at the end.

“Sunday is a massive result for us in terms of confidence. We have had a few games we were expecting to get the three points from and we haven't and it is tough to bounce back. But Sunday was a great result."
