Solskjaer will axe Man Utd players who fail to commit to offseason program

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is demanding full commitment from his players in preseason.

Solskjaer and his backroom team have drawn up a hard-line pre-season diary to ensure there is no repeat of the fitness issues which were such a problem last term.

And the manager has left them all in no doubt that he expects them to return in top shape, with anyone not doing so potentially being axed from the pre-season tour, says The Sun.

Every player has been given a specific regime for the close-season, geared to individual diets and light work.

And they will be pitched straight into a hard-line routine as soon as they get back to work, before United head to Australia for the first leg of their season prep.

The first week will be made up of double sessions, lasting from 9.30am to 4.30pm, with the first two mornings also including various tests.
