Solskjaer wants Milinkovic-Savic at Man Utd ahead of cashed-up PSG

Manchester United are pushing to convince Lazio to open talks for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big admirer of the Serbia international and supposedly failed to snap him up a year ago.

Now, however, he could rectify that mistake by bringing the midfielder to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign.

United are pressing to try and sign the Serie A star ahead of the summer transfer window.

It's claimed that Solskjaer made an attempt to sign the Lazio powerhouse last summer, allegedly offering £65m in order to snap the player up.

Now complicate matters, PSG are also in the mix to sign Milinkovic-Savic.

And they're willing to offer close to £90m in an attempt to beat United to the signature of the Serbian.
