Solskjaer reveals Man Utd set to make Rashford decision this week

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits the club will make a decision on the fitness of Marcus Rashford in the coming days.

The England and United winger could be set for surgery on a troublesome shoulder, as the injury has bothered him for much of the past season.

While English media reports have indicated that Rashford wants to go ahead with the surgery, Solskjaer was non-committal when speaking to the press after a 2-2 friendly draw with Brentford on Wednesday.

"With Marcus, we'll probably make a decision in next few days when we check him up, the last decision-making, what's best for him and best for the club has to be considered," said Solskjaer, per the Manchester Evening News.

If Rashford does have the surgery, he is likely to miss anywhere from two to three months of the new season.
