Solskjaer refuses to turn on Man Utd players after Burnley shocker

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to turn on his players after defeat at home to Burnley.

The Clarets won for the first time at Old Trafford for 58 years as the pressure mounted on manager Solskjaer and the United board following an eighth Premier League defeat of the season.

United remain six points off fourth spot and Solskjaer said he empathised with furious fans, who made clear their feelings with anti-Glazer chants towards the club's controversial owners.

“I'm in charge of them, it's down to me to get these boys going," said Solskjaer.

"At the end you do feel disillusioned, because maybe they [the fans] do, but for us we've just got to stick to our values, stick to our beliefs and know there's no use feeling sorry for yourself."
