Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was proud of Manchester United's youngsters in the 3-3 draw with Sheffield United on Sunday.
Teenagers Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood scored to level the scores at Bramall Lane, before 22-year-old Marcus Rashford put the visitors ahead.
Asked about the comeback, Solskjaer said: "When you're 2-0 down, you have got to go for it. Play with less fear, just express yourself and make things happen.
"The first time Dan got around him [his direct opponent] and put a good cross in… what a finish by Brandon.
"Then Mason scores, so the average age for the scorers today was less than 20 and that's something we're proud of.
"It's a great experience for Brandon, Mason and Marcus to come back, because at a stadium like this, it's never easy."
