Solskjaer praises Man Utd players after Atalanta win - 'They never stopped believing'

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for his players as they defeated Atalanta in the Champions League.

The Red Devils had to work hard to secure three points in the home clash against the Italian outfit.

United went 0-2 down at half time, before coming back to win 3-2 thanks to a late Cristiano Ronaldo header.

Speaking to BT Sport post-game, Solskjaer praised his players for not giving up on the result.

"I thought we played well in the first half. It was two chance, two goals. That has to stop if we are to survive past 50," he said.

"We've got a habit of doing this at this club. I thought we played well and then out of nothing they scored the first goal.

"But they never stopped believing, they kept on going, made a few mistakes, but they kept on going."
