Solskjaer planned Man Utd boot-camp before Carrington lockdown

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had plans for a bootcamp before the coronavirus outbreak.

Like most clubs, United have now shut their training ground for the time being.

The players are in self-isolation and keeping up with their fitness on their own.

Metrohas revealed that a military-style bootcamp was among Solskjaer's plans for keeping up the player's fitness during the time off.

He wanted to ensure the players were in tip top shape, but wanted to create a system where the players had minimal contact.

But when United reviewed the circumstances in the country, they took a decision to close down the training facilities last Tuesday.

In fact, Solskjaer had been planning the bootcamp just a day earlier.

Now it is unclear when clubs will return to regular training, or when the Premier League resumes.
