Solskjaer has Man Utd revive plans for Wolves midfielder Neves

Manchester United remain keen on Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

The Daily Express says United have renewed their interest in the Portuguese midfielder - but they are unwilling to pay the £100m currently demanded by Wolves .

The 21-year-old playmaker led the Molineux club to the Championship title last season and has attracted significant interest having continued to impress in the top flight.

He is a client of Jose Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes and Manchester United's interest reportedly cooled when Mourinho was sacked.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has notified club bosses he is keen on Neves and they are understood to have re-entered the hunt.

Manchester City are known admirers of Neves and have been considered the favourites for his signature as they aim to replace the ageing Fernandinho.
