Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted for matchwinner Kenwyne Jones after victory over Norwich City.
Jones had only just arrived from Stoke City.
Solskjaer said: "He's a big target man, he gives us something different and it took us half an hour to realise what we can use him for.
"He gave us a foothold up top, like Andy Carroll for West Ham. We played too much nice football in the beginning. Sometimes direct football is better."
