Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained the addition of Mark Dempsey to his coaching staff.

Solskjaer has brought Dempsey back to the club, having had him as his No2 at Molde and Cardiff City.

He told VG, "He is going to work a little between the junior team, the reserve team and a little with individual players.

"Mark is a United man. He belongs in the walls here.

"One day he will be with the 15-year-olds, one day with the 16-year-olds, and one day with the A-team. He is going to do a good job."
