Solskjaer desperate for first trophy as Man Utd manager

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he's desperate for a first trophy as the club's manager.

United host local rivals Manchester City tomorrow in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final, with Solskjaer desperate to take a step closer to a first trophy as boss.

“You always want to win trophies and we're so close now," said Solskjaer. “Hopefully it's going be two good games and two good days in Manchester.

“There are two games so we have to know, when this game finishes, it's half-time, we've still got to go to Etihad and finish the job off if we do well tomorrow.

“It's a two-game tie but we just have to focus on this one, because it's three weeks until the next one."
