Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been convinced by his players to move for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The Mirror says Solskjaer has canvassed his United England stars for their thoughts on Maguire.
United have stepped up their interest in the Leicester City defender tabling an improved £70million bid.
Manchester City are also in the mix for 26-year-old star, but have not upped their opening gambit of £65m.
The United boss has spoken to his Three Lions contingent about Maguire to get the inside track on the big defender's personality.
Solskjaer is making a point of adding players he believes are made of the right stuff, conduct themselves in the correct manner and a worthy of being a United player.
