Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Di'Shon Bernard, Ethan Laird and Dylan Levitt will start Thursday's Europa League match against Astana.

Lee Grant, Axel Tuanzebe, Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard are the only four senior players in the Norwegian's squad for the match in Kazakhstan.

Asked if any new faces will be introduced on Thursday night, Solskjaer told a press conference: "It's Lee [Grant], you'll also see [Ethan] Laird, [Di'Shon] Bernard and [Dylan] Levitt from the start so you'll definitely get a few."

He continued: "We've done great to qualify after four games and it gives us an opportunity to give game time to experienced lads who need it. Axel [Tuanzebe], Luke and Jesse have not really had too many games and are coming back from injuries.

"If our young players are going to learn to play in these European games, I think this is a great start for them.

"It's the right challenge for these boys now and it's going to be a good game of football. It's hard with the young kids to give them enough games against men, professional games.

"We've got the EFL Trophy and for me this is a great chance for me to see them all together."
