Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed new contract talks with Eric Bailly.
Solskjaer was speaking ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham.
Bailly's present deal expires in 2022.
The Ivorian has impressed at times but has had too many injuries since he joined the club for £30m from Villarreal in 2016 and was only making his 100th appearance in last night;'s Europa League encounter with AC Milan.
"We have started talking," said Solskjaer.
"Eric is keeping fitter for longer and I have been very happy with him.
"His playing style has made him miss too many games. One hundred games is not enough for the period that he has been here."
