Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has challenged Fred and Scott McTominay to continue their great form.

The midfield duo were the stand out performers for United as they battled to a 1-0 loss at home to Barcelona.

Solskjaer was impressed with both players, but he wants to see them continue that form in the coming games.

"Well that's the thing. When you get the chance and you take it you can't say that they didn't take it," Solskjaer told MUTV.

"Hopefully we will see more of that. Let's see how they are, if they can manage Saturday and then Tuesday again. We have got to think about these next games as a little cluster.

"We've looked back and of course we will analyse it and show the players before the next Barcelona game. The focus now is on the league and we need to focus everything on the games which come up."
