Solskjaer assures Man Utd fans of exciting summer: There'll be additions

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed they're planning for a busy summer market.

United are still recovering after their Champions League thumping at Barcelona.

Solskjaer admitted there can be no quick fix in his bid to take United back to the top and warned it will be a gradual process, but is confident of getting the right players in this summer to begin that process.

“We know that we have to be realistic and there's a job to be done, but there's no quick-fix," said Solskajer.

“It's not like buy seven players and we're in the right shape, we have to take it step by step.

“There'll be signings made, but there also have to be thoughts about players, to sit down with them, and then have a pre season.

“I can't wait for pre-season to come. There'll be some additions, but the players here have got to come back and know what is expected of them, to take ownership of that.

“I don't know if all these critics know what's happening, we've got scouts scouring the planet for good footballers.

“We'll sign players we think are the right fit, personality-wise price-wise, quality-wise and those who can you have longevity at this club and I'm confident we'll get the players."
