Solskjaer admits senior Man Utd departures can happen

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits some senior players could be on the move in the coming fortnight.

There was no room for Daniel James or Jesse Lingard in Sunday's squad at Liverpool. Lingard, 28, is wanted by Sheffield United on loan this month and has not played in the league all season but Solskjaer refused to give a specific update on his future.

"I don't want to go into individuals but we can probably allow one or two more to go out," Solsjaer said today. "But one of the strengths we have is we have a deep squad, strength in depth. We don't want to give our advantage away by easing off on our players.

"So I can't really give you a better answer than that."
