Solskjaer accepts Man Utd underdogs against Wolves

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits they're likely underdogs in their FA Cup tie with Wolves.

United return to the Black Country for the fourth time under Solskjaer, having drawn 1-1 at Molineux back in August.

But the Red Devils were beaten 2-1 in last season's FA Cup quarter-final and haven't beaten Wolves in four matches since their Premier League return in 2018.

Asked about another clash with Nuno Espirito Santo's men on Friday, Solskajer joked: "First of all, we blame the FA for the hot and cold balls!"

"We've had in succession Arsenal away, Chelsea away, Wolves away and Wolves away again, so they're not gonna make it easy for us.

"Tough fourth time there already in my time at Molineux and we haven't won there yet.

"Liverpool lost there last season, City just lost there now, so we know we've got to earn the right to win there, we've got to play well, we've got to perform and we've got to go there positive.

"Because we want a reaction after a defeat against Arsenal, which everybody said was such a bad, bad performance but it was in my mind a good game between two good teams."
