Dominic Solanke struck a hat-trick and Nathaniel Clyne completed a full 90 for Liverpool U23 on Sunday.

The Reds thrashed Stoke City 4-0.

Neil Critchley's side needed only a point to book their place in the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup but they progressed in style at St George's Park.

England international Clyne, who has missed the entire season following back surgery, looked fit and strong as he shone on his return at right-back.

Solanke finished off some slick team moves and substitute Bobby Adekanye was also on target.
