Charlie Davies is still some way from returning to action at Sochaux.

Sochaux coach Francis Gillot doesn't expect Davies to appear until January as he continues to recover from being involved in a major car accident earlier this year.

The club's fitness staff admit Davies is still some way from playing well for Sochaux's reserve team, as he struggles with his rehab.
