The Australian national team have dropped two places in the FIFA World rankings despite a win and a draw recently. Holger Osieck's Socceroos defeated New Zealand 3-0 and drew with Serbia 0-0 earlier this month but still managed to drop to 22nd on the rankings list.
Spain remains the World number one whilst England have pushed into the top four and Mexico into the top 10 after their CONCACAF Gold Cup triumph.
The leading Asian team is Japan in 13th with Australia second and Korea Republic third in 26th position.
