Wesley Sneijder has revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic convinced him about a move to Inter Milan. The pair were together at Ajax and AC Milan striker Ibra was still an Inter player when Sneijder opened talks last summer.
"Zlatan wanted me at Inter," Sneijder said. "He wanted me at his back because, in his opinion, strikers play better with me.
"We started to send each other text messages. He even spoke with Moratti and when it all seemed done he left for Barcelona!
"It's a lot better for Zlatan in Italy. The Spanish League is different. It's more technical. With his strength, he finds himself better in Serie A where he can score many goals.
"He has already started to do it. For me he is one of the best strikers in circulation."
