AS Roma fans are protesting against management over the decision to allow Daniele de Rossi to leave this summer.
De Rossi and Roma have announced the 35 year-old will depart when his contract expires next month. The midfielder isn't ready to retire - while Roma insisted they would not hand him new playing terms.
Giallorossi supporters expressed their anger on social media yesterday and then, in the evening, they plastered some areas of the city with protest banners against president James Pallotta. Two read: "Children of Rome, captains and flags. Here is the respect and love that this society can never have", "Pallotta pig, DDR forever in people's hearts".
Near the house of De Rossi the words "DDR vanto nostro" has been hung, while under the club's headquarters some upturned American flags have sprung up.
