Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos was spotted in conversation with Pep Guardiola after last night's defeat to Manchester City.

Kroos was surprisingly dropped for the Champions League round 16 first-leg defeat - and also was ignored by Real coach Zinedine Zidane for the entire game. The German was not even asked to warm-up through the 90 minutes.

However, Kroos was spotted in the players' tunnel after the game chatting with City boss and his former Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola.
