Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona training on Monday afternoon.

On Monday he was back at the club's Ciutat Esportiva at 16.00h CET and trained alone later in the afternoon, following La Liga's strict protocol.

Messi took a PCR test at home and tested negative for coronavirus which allowed him to return to Barça's training base. He will be tested again later in the week before he's allowed to train with his teammates.

Barça released the first images of Messi dressed in the club's new training kit for the first time on Monday.
