Arsenal are closing on a deal for Lorient striker Alexis-Claude Maurice.

The France Under-20 frontman has been linked with following Matteo Guendouzi from Ligue 2 side Lorient to the Gunners for £9million.

And the pair have been spotted together in London to send the transfer rumourmill into overdrive.

Claude-Maurice, 20, looked happy to pose for snaps as he grinned on a night out with his former team-mate.

So Guendouzi just posted a video on Instagram welcoming Alexis Claude-Maurice to his London home. Alexis is a transfer target for Arsenal and Guendouzi has been playing a major part to get the deal done.
