Manchester United defender Chris Smalling was delighted to return for their win at Fulham.
Smalling made his first appearance in two months, with his previous outing also against Fulham in a 4-1 win at Old Trafford in December, and helped the Reds to keep a clean sheet against his former club.
After the 3-0 win, he said: "I like to come back to Fulham but, as an away supporter, to be able to get that whole stand, it almost feels like a home game when the fans are at it from the first to the 90th minute. As an away team, it is great to be able to come to an away ground and play in front of them.
“The first 10 minutes was quite chaotic with the wind, the pitch wasn't great and with [Aleksandar] Mitrovic and his style. I had to wake up and get focussed really quickly but, yes, it was nice to come back and get involved with the team, given the form that we are in."
