Sky will continue to be the chief telecaster of Premier League football after their broadcasting rights were extended to 2022.
The new deal will see the British company show two more games per season than their current deal.
Amazon were reportedly interested in the Saturday lunchtime slot. But BT Sport won out and will televise 32 games for the season.
The American company may be interested in the 40 game package that remains available. It contains Bank Holiday and three midweek fixtures.
Sky have paid £3.579billion for their rights, with BT forking out £885million.
The deal will begin from 2019.
