Sissoko welcomes support of Spurs boss Mourinho

Moussa Sissoko is delighted with his form for Tottenham since the restart.

Sissoko has started every game since the resumption.

"I was very excited, I was like a kid who goes outside and can play football with his team-mates on the street," said Sissoko.

"When you are out of the pitch you are thinking to yourself football is the best job in life and you've been missing just training with your team-mates, trying to enjoy it all altogether. And of course missing playing games, to have some competition, to fight against the opponent. You realise everything more when you are injured. It was difficult because it was my first big injury since I've been playing football."

Jose Mourinho made sure Sissoko was made to feel wanted.

"He was close to me, asking me a lot of things, each day, if I feel better, if I need something to improve my recovery time. I think that gives you a good push because that means the manager cares about you."
