Moussa Sissoko has called for unity at Watford ahead of facing former club Tottenham.
Watford go into the game on the back of a 4-1 home defeat by West Ham.
“You win games, you lose games and you draw – you have to stay together especially in the difficult moments we are in," he said.
“We need to stick together because if we want to change things it will be by doing things together. Now there is another game soon against Tottenham which we know will be tough, but we are going to be at home and we have to do everything right to take some points."
The France international thanked the fans in attendance for their support, and said he is looking forward to getting back into the action against Spurs on New Year's Day.
“Since I've been here the fans have always been behind the team in even the difficult moments," Sissoko said.
“We would like to thank them for that because I know they can be disappointed because we didn't get a good result, but we need to stick together because they are a part of us – one big family.
“We need to stick together and fight until the end. We are going to have some good moments, I hope, and some bad moments as well, but we will fight together."
