Sinisa Mihajlovic has been named new coach of Bologna.

Mihajlovic takes over from Pippo Inzaghi after he was dismissed on Monday.

Mihajlovic had signed a contract until the end of the season, with the option for a further season.

The option is widely expected to be on the condition the Serb manages to keep the Rossoblu in Serie A.

It marks a return to the Dall'Ara for the 49-year-old, who failed to last the 2008-09 campaign in charge and was sacked by Sporting CP in June, just nine days into his tenure.
