Arsenal starlet Jay Simpson is to be offered a new long-term contract, skysports.com reports. The 19-year-old forward spent last season on loan at League OneMillwall, but he returned to Arsenal in the summer looking to make an impact.
He looks to have sufficiently impressed Wenger, who is now set to tie him down to a new two-and-half-year deal.
Norwich are also believed to be interested in taking Simpson on loan.
