Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is happy with the progress of his new-look team.

The Argentine is confident that the young signings such as Renan Lodi and Joao Felix will improve with time.

"It is clear that since we renewed for the club we understood the changes that were going to be made," Simeone told the press.

"Hopefully time will allow the youngest players [such as] Lodi and Joao Felix to improve.

"With time and matches they will be better.

"Patience only respects those who win."
