Silva heaps praise on Everton players after victory over West Ham

Everton boss Marco Silva heaped praise on his players after victory over West Ham United.

Goals from Bernard and Gylfi Sigurdsson secured a 2-0 win for the Blues at Goodison and in the process ended a four game losing streak that had piled the pressure on Silva.

"I think we clearly deserved the three points, but we should score more goals," Silva said.

"It is important to talk about the way we played, it was a very good performance, quality football.

"We embraced the game and the challenge.

"The movement in our offensive organisation was very good. They understood where the space was. We created all the space on the sides of [Declan] Rice.

"We should score more goals and make the win more comfortable. We finished the game with that very good moment from Gylfi, which was very good to see.

"Praise for our players for how well they liked. The crowd was really good. We asked them to support our players."
