Silva blasts ref performance after Everton win

Everton earned a morale-boosting 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Kurt Zouma powerfully headed in his first goal for the club from Lucas Digne's cross following a corner in the 61st minute, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin added the second in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Afterwards, Blues boss Marco Silva took aim at ref Anthony Taylor for booking five of his players: "I'm sure if you are an Everton supporter this afternoon you are unhappy about the referee this afternoon, I don't have doubts about that.

"I'm not a coach who comes here to find excuses, I like to be honest with you all but this afternoon was really tough.

"It is not something that has just happened this afternoon but this afternoon was really strange. It was a bad performance for sure but in some moments I can have a bad performance."

He added: "It is impossible I will be happy with that performance."
