Sierra Leone striker Bangura has no Celtic future

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has revealed that Mohamed Bangura is set to again leave the club this month.

The 24-year old Sierra Leone striker has played just 16 times for the Hoops since arriving from AIK Stockholm in 2011 and appears to have no future in Glasgow according to Lennon.

Bangura has been loaned back to AIK as well as Elfsborg in the past two years and Lennon suggests he could be headed back to that part of the world this winter.

"Bangura could leave in the window," said Lennon. "We're clearing the staff a little bit, we've sent some of the younger ones on loan to gain experience.

"But in Mo's case, it's in his best interests to go and play first-team football. It's reasonable to say that he doesn't have a future here.

"It just hasn't worked out for both parties. These things happen sometimes in football.

"We've had no enquiries for him yet but his best bet may be Scandinavia again."
