Sidwell looking for Fulham points despite tough run

Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell is well aware his club has a tough run coming up but is confident they can record some much-needed points.

The Cottagers scored a vital 2-0 away win at Wigan Athletic on Saturday and will need to repeat that type of performance in their upcoming league fixtures against Tottenham, Sunderland, Arsenal and Liverpool if they want to move up from 15th on the table.

"With the teams that we've played and the performances we've put in, we'd like to be more up the table and have more wins on the board," Sidwell told the club's official website.

"We're going into a tough period at the moment and will be playing a lot of top teams but I'm sure that if we keep playing the way we played so far this season, we won't come up short.

"We'll just keep plugging away, we're not going to change our style of play, we like to get the ball down and play - there's just a few areas that we need to pick up on."
