Steve Sidwell says Fulham's players have embraced the methods of new manager Felix Magath.
The German boss has a reputation as a bit of a dictator, yet Sidwell has no complaints.
The former Reading, Chelsea and Aston Villa man said: "The managerial situation has been tough, but it is all an excuse really. We are to blame for not progressing our work from the training ground onto a match day.
"Training under this manager has been tough - but it can be tougher. I'd say he is hard but fair. I am not one to slack off, I have never been like that. I am not going to start now."
