Shrewsbury to welcome Chelsea as Liverpool draw Swansea

The draw for the fourth round of the 2014/15 Capital One Cup has been made following the completion of the third round fixtures.

League Two club Shrewsbury Town have been given an exciting home clash with Premier League giants Chelsea which is sure to be an important money-spinner for the Shropshire outfit.

Micky Mellon's Salop made it through to the final 16 with a narrow 1-0 win over Championship side Norwich City on Tuesday night while Jose Mourinho's star-studded Blues managed a 2-1 home win over Bolton on Wednesday.

The league cup draw has thrown up three all-Premier League fixtures which will see Stoke City host Southampton, Liverpool at home to Swansea City and Newcastle United head to Manchester City after the cup holders hammered Sheffield Wednesday 7-0.

In other match-ups, AFC Bournemouth will welcome West Bromwich Albion to Dean Court, MK Dons will do battle with League One rivals Sheffield United at the Stadium mk, Brighton & Hove Albion are due to head to London to face Tottenham and Fulham will host fellow Championship side Derby County at Craven Cottage.

The draw for the fourth round of the league cup is as follows:

Tottenham (PREM) v Brighton & Hove Albion (CHA) - White Hart Lane Stoke City (PREM) v Southampton (PREM) - Britannia Stadium AFC Bournemouth (CHA) v West Bromwich Albion (PREM) - Dean Court Shrewsbury Town (L2) v Chelsea (PREM) - New Meadow Liverpool (PREM) v Swansea City (PREM) - Anfield MK Dons (L1) v Sheffield United (L1) - Stadium mk Manchester City (PREM) v Newcastle United (PREM) - Etihad Stadium Fulham (CHA) v Derby County (CHA) - Craven Cottage
