Shrewsbury Town boss Sam Ricketts admits there's frustration after their FA Cup elimination by Liverpool.

The League One team lost their fourth round replay 1-0 at Anfield to a team of Liverpool youth players.

Ricketts confessed: "I feel a bit flat to be honest, because we had a hard time getting started. We have played so many matches. It was our 39th game of the season and we looked like a team that just couldn't get started.

"Liverpool moved the ball really well. They are smart, lively and they played well. We just weren't there and you can't play at 95 percent.

"We had a good period after the break, where we had a goal canceled and faced up to Liverpool a bit, but we were too passive."
