Nicky Shorey is confident Reading have enough quality to beat the drop.

"It's been one of those seasons and we just need to make sure that we finish it in the right way," he said.

"We can analyse it over the summer and then make sure that we come back next season refreshed and go again, but we need to make sure that we are in the Premier League come the end of the season.

"We are confident that we can go and win all of our remaining games.

"Obviously we have a tough one coming up Saturday (away at Arsenal), but on any given day anyone can beat anyone.

"With the players we've got I think we've got more than a good enough chance."
