SHOCKER: Man Utd 0-4 down at Brentford for halftime

Manchester United are 4-0 down at halftime of their Premier League clash at Brentford.

Brentford are just the third side to score four goals against Manchester United in the first half of a Premier League game after Tottenham in October 2020 and Liverpool in October 2021.

Josh Dasilva opened the scoring when his shot slipped through United goalkeeper David de Gea on nine minutes. Mathias Jensen made it two from another De Gea error ten minutes later. Ben Mee and Bryan Mbuemo also struck to send the hosts 4-0 up at halftime.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville remarked: "I thought Manchester United would do better but they have been mauled, bullied, messed about with like you wouldn't believe and there is nowhere to hide. Brentford are absolutely rampant and brilliant."
